In 2002 Alex Won the National Guitar Competition ran by Erine Ball. After entering from the magazine guitar techniques he won his place into the regional heat and was chosen to compete in the final at the Music live show at the N.E.C. Then winning the grand final he earned his custom made Axis super sport valued at £2000.
2005/6 saw Alex perform live on various radio stations with recording artists the Honeyriders amongst others and two global TV apperences, audience figures were in the millions.
In 2006/7 Alex composed Music for BBC Television and radio as well as other short films privately commissioned.
