Irish National Guitar & Blues Festival 2011
From April 15th to 17th in Drogheda, Co. Louth.
The main event centre will be Drogheda’s state of the art concert hall – The TLT. You can expect a guitar player’s heaven at The Irish Guitar & Blues Festival 2011! There will be something for all ages and all levels of musicians. International and local artists confirmed to perform at this years festival include guitar legend and Grammy award winner Ed Gerhard , Finger picking genius Richard Gilewitz, Irish songwriting legend Paul Brady who will perform a live concert with his band in the TLT on Sat 16th, guitar legend Pat Mc Manus and friends including Andy Powell of Whishbone Ash, Henry Mc Cullough of Wings and Barry Barnes of Sinner Boy perform live at The TLT on Fri 15th @ 8pm, one of Ireland’s greatest session and live guitarists Jimmy Smyth will host a range of master classes on Sunday the 17th of April with his band members and well known musicians Jason Duffy (drums) and Paul Moore (Bass), followed by The All Stars Finale Concert on Sunday evening at 5pm which will feature all the stars of The Irish Guitar & Blues Festival 2011.
